I've been drawing more consistently for the past 2 months and while I certainly haven't made a vast improvement, I'm glad that I've been sticking with it.
I don't have much free time so I usually try to do some sort of drawing tutorial during lunch. Sometimes during a slow point in the work day. And when I can over the weekend.
It's definitely good motivation being around such talented artists at work and getting to see their creations. I wish I had more time to watch their processes. But it's great just getting to see it at all.
I'm confident that by the end of the year I'll be more competent with the basics and be able to see some tangible progress. It's certainly a test of patience but it's so rewarding working on a sketch and seeing it turn into something more than random doodles.
